Desain

Product Highlight

Padded fingertips and a wide thumb profile

Soft pads on the fingertips and a wide thumb profile maximize the gripping surface and enable a secure, precise grip.

Compatible with Myo Plus pattern recognition

Myo Plus pattern recognition is a learning, intelligent control system that interprets movement patterns in the user’s residual limb and assigns them to a prosthesis grip. This makes intuitive control without switching possible.

Passively movable fingers

The fingers yield when they brush against people or unintentionally bump into objects and fold away.

Numerous glove options

Bebionic prosthetic gloves are available in eight natural skin tones, or jet black for a more high-tech look.

Program switch

The program switch on the back of the prosthetic hand allows rapid switching between the different grips in everyday life.

Movable thumb

The passively movable thumb can be positioned inward or outward, enabling a wide number of different grips in everyday life.

Lebih dari sekedar Tangan Palsu

Modern design

Based on the anatomical skeletal structure of the human hand, the modern design of the bebionic is sleek yet functional. Key design features include the natural proportions and anatomically-designed thumb positions.

Made for you

The bebionic hand is available in three different wrist options (short wrist, quick disconnect, and flexion wrist), two sizes (small or medium), and two colors (elegant white or futuristic black) so you can express your unique preferences.

Optional cosmetic glove

If you prefer a natural look, you can add an optional cosmetic glove, available in eight skin tones, or jet black for a more high-tech look. Crafted from carefully layered, high quality silicone and reinforced with an integrated mesh liner, our bebionic gloves are secure, soft, and easy to clean.

Intelligent movement

Finger movements are tracked by sensors, which ensure all grip patterns are reliably kept in sync. The bebionic can be used with standard two-site myoelectric control or paired with the Myo Plus pattern recognition system, which uses up to eight pairs of electrodes to identify your unique muscle patterns for intuitive control of the hand.

Precision control

Microprocessors allow for a wide range of proportional control, which offers the precision to gently grasp an egg or the strength to firmly hold a spoon. The padded fingertips, anatomically-designed thumb and web space, and large opening width create a maximized surface area for a secure grasp. The placement of individual finger motors in the palm of the hand, instead of the fingers, helps optimize weight distribution in the prosthesis.

Quality you can rely on

With 100+ years of experience in prosthetics, we stand behind our technology. Our bebionic by Ottobock hand is constructed using durable, high quality materials and backed by a best-in-class service and clinical support team. Providing a high degree of flexibility in your daily activities, the bebionic allows you to feel confident with each movement.

Pola Gerakan dan Genggaman

Key grip

With the thumb in lateral position, key grip closes it against the side of the index finger. This is ideal for grasping thin, flat objects such as magazines, keys, and credit cards. This position allows users to keep objects in their line of sight.

Relaxed hand position

When not actively using the hand, the relaxed hand position gives the bebionic a natural and lifelike appearance. The thumb is positioned toward the palm in the lateral position with the remaining fingers slightly flexed.

Active index grip

In active index grip, the index finger is controlled and positioned independently. This works well for typing or with trigger mechanisms like spray bottles, hairdryers, or light duty power tools.

Power grip

Power grip allows for easy and secure holding of round or cylindrical objects such as bottles, handles, and other household objects.

Pinch grip

With pinch grip, the thumb and index finger are adjusted to make contact. This is useful when picking up a wide range of small objects including coins, car keys, lids, and pens.

Hook grip

When carrying objects like a shopping bag or briefcase, the hook grip provides the perfect solution. This hand position can be accessed via a partially closed power grip.

Precision closed grip

Precision closed grip provides a quick, reliable way of picking up and moving small objects. The index finger contacts the thumb while the rest of the fingers close onto the palm, increasing visual access to objects.

Finger adduction

Finger adduction brings the fingers together naturally as they close, allowing for grasping of thin objects. This is useful for holding utensils while eating, brushing teeth, picking up papers, and more.

Tripod grip

Tripod grip brings the thumb in contact with the index and middle fingers, allowing the grasp of everyday items like pens, car keys, coins, and other small objects. The ring and little fingers close until they meet resistance or the close signal stops.

Precision open grip

With precision open grip, small objects can be manipulated with the thumb in opposition. When a close signal is applied, the thumb moves to the midpoint range and pauses. The index finger is then active while the middle, ring, and little fingers remain extended.

Finger adduction

Open palm fully opens the hand to provide a flat surface when the thumb is in the lateral position. This is effective for carrying plates, bowls, or trays.

Finger point

Intricate tasks like pressing small buttons, typing on a keyboard, or tapping a touchscreen are all possible with finger point. With the thumb in the non-opposed position, the index finger can be isolated while the rest of the fingers close against the palm.

Mouse grip

Whether you are working in the office, browsing the internet, or playing video games, the mouse grip allows you to operate a computer mouse. The thumb and little finger close to hold the side of the mouse, while the middle and ring fingers provide additional stability. The index finger clicks the mouse button using open and close signals.

Column grip

In column grip, the thumb stabilizes the index finger while the remaining fingers close into the palm. This creates a rigid index finger useful for pushing buttons, switches, and levers.

Customer's F.A.Q

The bebionic is a myoelectric prosthetic hand. It is controlled by sensors placed over your muscles. When you contract a muscle, a signal is sent to operate the hand. Various grasp patterns are possible due to individual finger movement.

The bebionic is designed for unilateral users with traumatic or congenital limb difference, and for all levels at or above the wrist. We recommend the bebionic for users with low to moderate activity levels, as heavy duty activities should be avoided.

Contact your local certified prosthetist or fill out our trial request form.

Basic functions of the hand are typically achieved during the initial trial and fine tuned during the fitting process. Achieving the full benefits of the hand requires practice and training. Most users will benefit from occupational therapy to help them fully integrate the hand into their daily lives. The timeframe in which this will happen varies greatly between different users; however, six months is a realistic goal with proper guidance.

As with all upper limb prostheses, the bebionic hand is attached to a custom socket with a battery system. Your prosthetist will take you through a process of diagnostic fittings, including socket and programming adjustments prior to fitting the final prosthesis.

The operating time of the battery largely depends on how much the prosthesis is used throughout the day. Typically, the battery will last an entire day. We recommend charging the battery each night to ensure it is always ready for the next day.

Yes! Although, wearing the bebionic with the prosthetic glove can help protect the hand against moisture, dirt, and dust.

Ottobock developed the ErgoArm and DynamicArm elbow systems for amputations like yours. The bebionic hand is fully compatible with both systems. Your prosthetist can advise you in further detail regarding your particular fitting options.

The bebionic offers 14 different grip patterns and hand positions. You can work with your prosthetist to select up to eleven options at a time. Check out the various grips under the “Grip patterns” tab.

The bebionic hand should not be directly exposed to water. Options for activities involving exposure to water can be explored with your prosthetist.

You can use a touchscreen with the small bebionic hand without the glove. The medium hand does not have the capacitive finger palps.
